What is the free "How to Choose a Coach" service?
It is a free 20 minute service to help individuals choose the best coach for themselves regardless of whether the individuals are considering Executive Coaching Team® or not. It is an outside, objective opinion to help individuals determine and evaluate which coach would be the greatest value to them.

What is our business, personal and team coaching process?
Step I.
Jointly, we will assess and evaluate where you are and where you want to be in achieving your goals. Together, we will then set specific, measurable and attainable goals - both short term and long term. These goals may be any goals you choose.

In business coaching, these goals frequently tend to focus on improving job performance and increasing corporate income.

In personal coaching these goals frequently tend to focus on accelerating career and personal-professional growth; balancing career, personal and professional life; or simply becoming "unstuck."

In team coaching, we work with you and your team to assess where you are and where you want to be - as a company and as a team. We will then work with you and your team to establish goals and objectives, or a particular project such as developing a strategic business or marketing plan, buying or selling a company, implementing an IT project - or simply team building.

We can also help you define and clarify your goals should you desire our assistance.

Step II.
We collaborate on how we can partner with you to help you to achieve your goals, and then establish a time frame for measurable results.

Step III.
You decide which coach(es) you feel would be the most valuable to you and whether it is more appropriate and beneficial for you to have individual or group coaching (if available). In individual coaching, you may choose to work with a combination of coaches in order to achieve different goals.

Step IV.
From the results of the steps above, a partnership for growth is formed between you and the coaches at Executive Coaching Team® and goals can be attained.

How does the process work?
Step I.
You and the coaches talk interactively on the phone once or twice a month for 1/2 hour or 1 hour at a preset time.

Step II.
On the day prior to the coaching session, you e-mail (or fax) the coach the agenda (usually 2 or 3 items/topics) to be discussed in the coaching session. This agenda has usually been mutually agreed to at the prior coaching session.

What is the format of the coaching sessions?
The executive coaching sessions are frequently broken into 3 parts:
Part I.
What you accomplished since your last session (i.e. goals attained).
Part II.
The agenda of 2 or 3 items that have mutually been agreed to at a prior session between you and the coach (or perhaps an emergency item).
Part III.

What goals you will achieve for the next session.

We also periodically have group coaching sessions which are generally broken into 3 parts similar to executive coaching sessions. However, with group coaching (usually inter-company):

  • Participants join a community of like minded individuals
  • Participants learn from each other.
  • Participants benefit from each others' experience and support, and the knowledge and expertise of the coach.
  • Direct competitors do not normally participate in the same group.
  • Bridge call technology is used, whereby each member of the group calls a predetermined number at a preset time.

What does it cost?
This depends on the length of each session, the frequency, and whether you choose individual or group coaching. The sessions generally range from 1/2 hour or 1 hour at a preset time once or twice a month.

Individual coaching ranges from $250-$750/month. The advantage of individual coaching is that you can discuss any subject you choose and can accelerate your outcome as fast as you want. Each month you are billed for the upcoming month. Twenty-four (24) hour notice is required should a cancellation be required.

The cost of group coaching (when available) ranges from $99-$250/month/person depending on the size of the group, the session length and frequency. The groups range from 2-8 participants. Group coaching is highly efficient and very cost effective. A 3 month commitment is required because continuity is important (i.e. the group is counting on you). Prior to the first coaching session, you are billed for 3 months in advance.

How efficient is coaching?
Coaching is cost effective. Within a short time frame, you can frequently achieve your goals...all at very little cost.

Coaching is easy. Since you can conduct a session by phone from the convenience of your office, home or any other location, there is no drive time.
